THE SHIPS are hand made, with natural materials. The models are introduced, piece by piece and are assembled inside the bottle, using tools specially made for this purpose by the artisan. The ships are for sale, the price is published in each page. If you are interested in buying one, please visit our sales page.
THE BOTTLES are recycled, mostly of spirits all around the world. The size and shape determine the kind of ship is crafted for it.
THE ARTISAN Álvaro de Vida, lives in Uruguay, and has been working doing ships in botlles since 1985. He has travelled to 14 countries in Latinamerica and Europe, participating in a large number of exhibitions. .He is a member of the European Association of Ships in Bottles (EASIB).
